About

Part designer, part psychologist, part pasta.

I like to believe I was a chef in a previous life, rolling pasta and devouring pastry on a rural farm in Tuscany. But in this life, I studied and worked in psychology for around 15 years before finding my way to content writing and digital product design (pasta continues to be a part-time hobby).

I’m happy to share my whole journey from psychology to design, but really it boils down to being inspired by complex problems that technology can cause and help solve, such as the ethical dilemmas of autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence, and the barriers and levers for social connection in virtual worlds.

I enjoy making sense of knotty challenges and the creative problem-solving that content and UX design can generate, particularly when working with people from different disciplines.

I’ve been fortunate to wear many hats in digital product design. Building and innovating quickly often with limited resources has necessitated a scrappy and adaptable approach to my work. I enjoy all types of content and UX design work, from grand strategic thinking pieces to the detail of button copy. Most of all I love trying to make sense of complexity.

I’ve found I thrive in dynamic, highly collaborative roles and am open to contract and full-time positions in content and UX design.
